About SERENI

SERENI began with a quiet pursuit.

Over time, we found ourselves paying closer attention to how we sleep. Not out of necessity, but out of a growing awareness that comfort could be more considered, more refined, especially during warmer nights.

We had grown familiar with bedding made from cotton and linen. Materials we appreciated, yet we continued to look for a more refined sense of comfort, drawn to materials of natural origin and lighter, more breathable alternatives.

At some point, we came across a fabric that felt distinct. Softer, lighter, and more breathable against the skin. Almost like silk, yet easier to live with.

We brought it into our daily routines and lived with it over time. The difference was subtle, but it stayed.

That moment became the beginning of SERENI.

Why we started

In recent years, we began to notice a shift.

Summers felt longer, and nights increasingly warm. At the same time, many homes still rely on natural ventilation, with little or no air conditioning.

We realised that sleep, especially in warmer seasons, often depends on small details. How fabric rests against the skin, how it breathes through the night, and how it allows the body to settle.

Our first collection was developed from this perspective, offering a lighter and more breathable way to sleep.

How we develop

From the beginning, we chose a slower and more deliberate approach.

We spent time visiting suppliers, comparing fabrics, testing finishes, and selecting only those that felt right. Samples were brought into daily life and used over time, across different nights and routines.

Each decision was discussed, refined, and reconsidered. Not only in terms of material, but in how it would be experienced in real living spaces.

Nothing was rushed, and nothing was chosen based on specifications alone.
Every product we release is something we have lived with ourselves.

Our material

At the core of SERENI is Airveil™, a fabric chosen for its quiet performance.

Crafted from 100% lyocell, a plant-based fibre, and finished with a gentle sand-washed treatment, Airveil™ feels light and breathable like silk, with a matte surface that softens both touch and light.

Soft, breathable, and naturally gentle on the skin, it offers comfort without excess. In warmer months, it helps reduce heat and restlessness, while continuing to soften over time.

Although our first collection is designed for summer, we see this material as a foundation that can evolve across seasons, combining with other layers while preserving its lightness and skin feel.

Our approach

SERENI began with something we experienced ourselves and wanted to share.
